Cancellation of A Music Love Story

I have decided to cancel my first series since I have recently quit my Co-Curricular Activity which Is Band. And it is because of Band that have made me create this story, I have no other meaning of continuing the story.So I am sorry but I have to cancel it.Am I going to create another series?Maybe or Maybe not.

So you will have to wait and see.

Is it really needed to have so many apps in phones?

Hi guys,

So this is my first debate and it is on apps in hand phones.

As you might know that now that android and iphones are the ‘hot’ phones all round town. But let me ask you: Is it really needed? People might see ‘yes’ as if they have nothing to do if they are on the bus or on the train or maybe in some boring situation, they can just ‘pop’ out their phones and listen to music and play games.

But have we all forget that the MAIN purpose of a phone is to just to be able to contact people when they are very far away from them.So why do we still need to have games on the phone?Let me show you a picture on the old hand phones.

So as you can see, the screen is black and white and you cannot really see any good images in it.But now lets see the modern hand phones.

Now, the modern phone have change drastically.With the addition of camera, color, thin and a lot of other apps.

Whats the differences?

Firstly, the old phones is quite heavy but the new phone is as light as a paper and then it will be easier to carry around but I am not saying that the old phones are so heavy that they can’t even be lifted!

Secondly, the quality! In the old phone, if you just drop the phone ;it will totally break! But in the new phone, if you drop the phone; it does not mean life and death of the phone! It just means that there might be some scratches  around the screen. But for that point, it might be valid out because whoever drops the phone is the one at fault. The phone won’t break if you are not careless and not just dropping it! And also in the old phone, people might complain that the color stinks! And that is one of the bad point of it:Not having color. But in the new phone, the color totally rule! It is also one of the points that people want to use the new ones instead of the old ones.

Thirdly,games and music etc. The old phone only has one very simple game that many thinks is a classic: The Snake. What is the snake? You might ask. The snake is a game that portraits a snake trying to eat food in this tiny box. And there will only be one piece of food in the entire box and when the snake eats it, he will grow bigger and bigger. How the game ends? The games ends when the snake bites it own body part. So that’s the ONLY game in the whole entire phone but in the new phone, they will be an app store for you to download as many games as you like! So that’s a point that is good for the new phone but is it really all that good? Some games that you want to download might require you to pay and if you get really addicted to the game, you might lost concentration during work or at school.

Advantages and Disadvantages

Old Hand Phone

The only advantages the old hand phone is that is does not make people so addicted to it and it can make phone calls. While the disadvantages are already much or less written in the above statements.

New Hand Phone

The advantages of the new hand phone are endless! Let me just state the better ones: Games! A must in every day life! Games helps people go through the boring stages of their life! So that is an advantage. For the next advantage,  it is the color! I don’t know how many times I am going to repeat that Color is a important factor as it helps to bring out the image of the pictures and games. Who would want a phone that is dull and boring? Next, one of the advantages is that it can take pictures! One of the ways to record your finest memory!

The disadvantages are that if one really are a very addicted to the new phone, people might neglect their studies or work. The new phone also does not cost cheap, if you ask me; it cost quite a bomb! Technical Bugs- if the phone does not work, you might have to waste the time to change the phone or repair it and  these are quite common in new phones nowadays and in the past; the old phones won’t break so easily as they are very less things in the phone.

Back to the question- Is it really needed to have so many apps in phones?

If you are a very simple person and you don’t want to waste your time downloading this and that then your answer might be NO!

If you are a person that goes along the technology, you might give a answer – YES!

My Answer

For me the answer is YES! As the phones are like a mark in technology, people need to improve. As the saying goes :If you refuse to step forward, you will always remind there. And besides if you can control your addiction for the phone, that might not even be a problem at all!

Okay, I am going to introduce a new segment which I like to call Poem Of  The Day and Quote Of  The Day.What this means is that every Monday, I will post a new poem written by me and a poem that has been written by another person. The Year Of The Rabbit

Hi guys! I am sorry that I am unable to post any new stories for the past few days as my new school term has just started and I am very busy but I did not forget about this blog! I had been writing the rest of all the A Music Love Story episodes and I will regain my posting new week but if you want to read a new story now, I have been writing a story called The Year of the Rabbit as it is the Asian New Year and its the rabbit year. So enjoy this new story for the new year!

The Year of the Rabbit

It was the annual Asian New Year and everybody in China was getting ready for it. Some hang decorations outside their houses and while some prepared their red packets for the children when they visit them. The Asian New Year was a joyous occasion for the Asians, it was a day set aside for people to think about what to do for the upcoming year and a day set aside for people to celebrate and forget all their troubles. It was also a day set aside for families to reunite and have fun with each other.

In this year, it was the year of the Rabbit; and so the Rabbit Deity has to take care of the folks for the upcoming year. He has to do his rounds of inspections and make sure everything was okay. He had to make sure that everything was calm and full of happiness in the mortal world.

And so he started his inspections during the first day of the Asian New Year. He saw many families smiling away. He saw happiness but he also saw sorrow. Many people knew that rabbits are kind, smart and gentle, and the rabbits had wanted to prove to people that it was true by helping the needy this Asian New Year but he did not know what he could do to help them. He could not speak to them, neither he could touch them and even not to have the ability to help them. He could only sign and walk away. As he walked along the streets of China, he was relieved to see that there was more happiness than to sorrow but this was the same phenomenon that happens every year. He wanted to change this but he knew that it was impossible.

While he walked and walked, he suddenly thought of an idea! He could use his magic and turn into a human and then help the local folks! But he remember there was a side effect to it: he will lose 200 years of magic practice and further more if he don’t turn back to The Rabbit Deity in 5 hours, he will become an ordinary rabbit. ‘How could I help so many people in just 5 hours?’ He thought to himself. He thought as he walked. The more he saw the sorrow the folks are having, the more convinced that he needed to help them. After 3 hours of solid thinking, he finally made a decision! He wanted to help the people!

And so he quickly changed himself to a mortal and without a moment to spare, he had bought rice and wanted to give it to the locals. ‘Come and collect free and delicious rice!’ he shouted to the streets. As one after another human were smiling after they had gotten their sack of rice, he felt a very deep happiness inside of him. Then he knew that he did the right thing. After 4 hours and 30 minutes had passed, the Rabbit had wanted to turn back but he could not bear to leave the long line of queue that were still there. He decided to stay there for 20 more minutes.

20 minutes past swiftly, but there would still many people that had not received their rice. The Rabbit still did not want to leave and had decided to stay for a few more minutes. The time past swiftly, The Rabbit Deity did not knew that 5 hours had passed and suddenly he was summoned to the Heaven.

‘How dare you, Rabbit Deity to turn into a human and not turning back within 5 hours!’ the Jade Emperor shouted. ‘I am sorry, your majesty. I was distributing rice to the needy people in China.’ The Rabbit Deity replied ‘You can turn me back to a rabbit. I don’t mind it’ the Rabbit Deity continues. ‘Ok then! I shall turn you into a rabbit!’ the Jade Emperor said. The Jade Emperor began to chant some magic words but suddenly, the Ox Deity shouted ‘Please don’t! Your majesty! What the Rabbit Deity was to help the poor people have a good year ahead! And the Rabbit Deity had already lost 200 years of magic practice! That’s a very big punishment to begin with! I suggest that the Rabbit Deity shall be let go of this crime! Please, your majesty! Let the Rabbit Deity go’ and then the Ox Deity kneeled down in front of the Jade Emperor. Suddenly, all of the deities that were presence also kneeled down to help beg for mercy. The Jade Emperor went into great thoughts and made a decision……

‘I will let this matter past for this time round but if you do it again, I will turn you into a rabbit. And I have decided to widen the time limit from 5 hours to 10 hours but the losing of 200 years of magic practice will remain the same,’ The Jade Emperor said in a calm tone. ‘Thanks your majesty,’ the Rabbit Deity said.

The Rabbit Deity and the other animal deities flew down to Earth and the Rabbit Deity thanked all of them especially the Ox Deity. ‘Hey, let use help you on the distributing of rice to the locals! Losing 200 years of magic practice is fine with all of us! Isn’t that right?’ The Dragon Deity said to the Rabbit Deity. ‘Yeah, we should! In this way, we could help the locals have a great year ahead!’ the Ox and Tiger Deity said. ‘Thanks! All of you! I am really grateful of all your help,’ The Rabbit Deity said.  And then, they began their work. Many people were happy and smiling. The deities felt that they did the right thing and realized that happiness comes from helping people and seeing the people smiles.

Sorry! and Updates

I am sorry that the past two weeks, I have not been able to add my stories as it is my school’s exam period…but now its over!I can finally post stories!Yay! By the way, I am removing the column for ramdom stories and I will change it to A Music Love Story.

It means that I will be posting A Music Love Story’s episodes on Saturday and Sunday! So, thats the updates.

I will be posting soon,probably tomorrow for my next A Music Love Story.

The Watch That Talks

Ok, here’s the deal:overtime I post a new even story on A Music Love Story,I will be posting a random story.So this week I am going to post about A Music Love Story(Episode 2) and so a random story there is!And this time it is the story about a watch that talks!

                                             The Watch That Talks

            ‘Quick! We don’t have much time left! The owner is coming back soon! Just grab anything that is valuable,’ John whispered to his team. James took whatever was valuable and then he spotted something. A dazzling object. He went over to pick it up. It was a watch with diamonds on its wrist band and face. ‘John always keeps the share to himself and never shapes. Well then, I am going to keep this to myself as he ran off.

             ‘Good job, team! We have stolen $5098.20, 5 gold bracelets and 3 sets of jewellers!’ John said. The team cheered. ‘Okay then, Meeting’s over, you may go back home now.’ John said happily. When James walked further away from John, he quickly took out the watch and wore it and said ‘Only cool wear this kind of watches.’ While walking back home, an old lady asked for his help as the old lady needed him to cross the road. At first, James was reluctant but suddenly he felt a strong current from his wrist and for some reasons, he helped the old lady cross the road! He was a thief yet he did a good deed! The old lady thanked him. He did not know what had really happened. ‘I am a pro! I am a pro!’ His hand phone was ringing. ‘Hello! This is James speaking. May I help you?’ James said on the phone. ‘This is John. Tomorrow at Idiot Road, Number 3. Remember to be there.’ John said. ‘You better not be there! Or maybe you should! You could help the cops capture John!’ A voice suddenly appeared. ‘Huh? Where did the voice came from?’ James shouted.  ‘I am here! I am the talking watch!’ the walking watch said. ‘What the heck! A talking watch! ’ James said in surprise. The walking watch explained that it was a watch that helps bad people to turn into good people by making the person do good deeds. It also said that it helped 33 people from becoming a bad guy to good guy. It also said that it cannot be taken off until James had become a good guy…..

                 It was the next day. James was waiting for the crew to arrive at Idiot Road. ‘Hi James! Today we will be having Jessie to guard the place,’ John said excitedly to James. After that, Jessie distracted the owner and told the owner that there was something serious had happened outside the street. Then, James and John went inside the house and steal the items. After a while, James suddenly felt a strong current from his wrist and then he told James that he needed the toilet. ‘Hello, is this the police? I want to report a theft case at Idiot Road, house number 3.’ James called the police. After that he sneaked out of the house through the back door.

                 Soon after, the police had arrived. The police caught John and Jessie but not James because he was the one who had reported the case. James should have felt sad but he felt….relief……….

                  During the next 3 months, James did a lot of good deeds. He felt happy. He also made a very big decision. He wants to join the police force. He trained for 4 months and upon graduation, he was able to take off the watch. ‘James, congratulations! We will have to part our ways now…sad… But can you do me a flavor? I want you to look for a spot so that I can help others.’ The watch said. James found a spot for the watch and they both parted ways……

                  Both James will forever remember the talking watch and The Talking Watch will forever helping others….

A Music Love Story Episode 1

As I have promised you that this story will be up and running, and so I do keep my promises and now presenting to you:A Music Love Story Episode 1!

                                       Sub Title:Being Late For School

          ‘ I am so excited for school tomorrow!’ Jonas said.’What is so great about Peanuts Secondary School By the way, I heard that  the school has alot of hooligans…,’ Hudson replied.’Well at least there is a school that will take us in not like  T.K.N.I.N.W.M. whose father forgot to submit the application form for school’ Jonas said.’Oh yeah!T.K.N.I.W.M. stands for  ‘That kid’s name is not worth mentioning’,right?’ Hudson said.’Yep’ Jonas replied.’Can’t talk now or else my mum will start nagging at me,’ Hudson said.’Bye’ they both said.After that,Jonas began to pack his bag for school.Then, he  watched late night television from 1am to 3am! Jonas wactched a show called ‘The Unpredictable
World’, it is a scientific show about alien from Mars.Then,Jonas went to sleep.
        ‘Ring! Ring!’ the alarm rang.Jonas reached for the alarm and saw that it was already 9am! He was supposed to be at school at 7am and he was late by 2 whole hours!Jonas quickly  changed into his school uniform and dashed out of his apartment without eating his  breakfast.Why didn’t his parents woke him up? His parents were at work, which had them to be at their work place by 5am.
        While runnning to catch the bus,all of a  sudden, a girl dashed out from the bushes and hit Jonas.The girl and Jonas did not really care about the accident. Apparently, both of them were heading to the same bus stop,taking the
same bus,heading the same route,heading the same school!They together rushed into their  classrooms.’Good Morning, Mrs Koh!’ They  said together.’Good morning Jonas and Cindy. Please take seat.’ Mrs Koh said. Jonas went to seat with Hudson.’Why were you late!?You  know you were supposed to be here at 7am.’ Hudson whispered.’Sorry! I overslept…’ Jonas replied.’But then, you were also lucky to have  miss what Mrs Koh have to say about the school rules and attire. By the way, how did you know  our form teacher was Mrs Koh?’ Hudson asked. ‘I saw the staff list at the school website.’Jonas replied while trying to catch his breathe.’Hey,  that girl came into class with you Do you know who she is?’ Hudson asked.’I bumbed into her  while catching the bus,’Jonas replied.After Mrs Koh has explained everything about Peanuts Secondary School.It is time for recess.’What  should we eat?’ Hudson asked while walking to the cafeteria.’How about trying….’ Jonas was accidently cut off of his talking because he knocked into the same girl who he had met  while trying to catch the bus.’Sorry’the girl said. ‘Its you!Hi, my name is Cindy.Whats your name?’ Cindy asked.’Oh yeah,I remember you! You were the same girl who I knocked into this morning. Hi, my name is Jonas and this friend here is  Hudson.’Jonas replied.’Hi Jonas and Hudson! This friend here is Yu Zhen.’Cindy said.’Hi Yuzhen!’Jonas said.Meet both of you at class later.’Jonas said. ‘Okay.Bye.’Cindy said while running to the  classroom with Yu Zhen.’Wow!Cindy is a friendly person!’ Jonas said.’Yeah and Yu Zhen is gorgeous!’ Hudson said while his saliva was drooling.’Trust you to only notice that!’Jonas said.

Sneak Peeks of A Music Love Story Ep.1

Christmas Spent Alone

 Although I did not mention anything about this story but when I have the feeling to type, I have the feeling of blogging!

So just enjoy this story!

                                                                                Christmas Spent Alone

            It was Christmas day at Lucky Adoption Center and Peter was sitting by the fireplace watching the other kids dancing around the Christmas tree. Peter was an orphan; he lost his parents at the age of 5 when his parents died in a car accident. 7 years had passed but no one had adopted him. But the truth is: Peter did not want to be adopted.  

             Usually during Christmas at the adoption center, there would be Santa playing with the kids but this year because of the thick snow; Santa would not be able to come. So Sandy, the manger of the center, had to tell the kids to turn in early. Peter did not want to sleep yet because Christmas was his favorite holiday as it is the only holiday that do not require Peter to sleep early. So Peter hid in the toilet for twenty-five minutes.

            After the center’s light was off, Peter sneaks out of the center. When he walked past the town hall, the choir was singing some Christmas song and he was reminded the time when his parents was singing Christmas song with him. And when he walked past the long road of houses, he could see children playing with their parents and family. He was envious of them and wondered why he could not have a proper holiday? He hated his life and even thought of killing himself but he did not dare.

           It was getting colder and Peter was tired. He had decided to go back to the center. While walking back, he suddenly smelled something: Christmas Log Cake, fresh for the oven. He was attracted to the smell and walked towards it. The truth is that Peter did not eat any single log cake ever since his parents died. He did no notice the surrounding and accidently bumped into a couple. “Hi, kiddo! Where are your parents? You do know this is Christmas right?’’ They asked. “I am….a….orphan.” Peter replied. Peter explained everything to the couple. Suddenly, the couple nods their head. “We are going to adopt you!”

           Peter was surprised but this time he did not object to it because he really wanted to feel family love. As for the couple, they could not conceive for some reasons. But from then all, Peter was very happy. And he will never had to spent Christmas alone…
