  It was another boring day at my office same easy case, same easy life. How I wish that there was an exciting case for me to handle! Suddenly, the phone rang! It startled me, I answered the call :“This is Detective Alfred speaking,” “Hello, we are from the CIB, we have come to informed you that Tom has escaped prison and two jewelry shops in a nearby town had been robbed. We suspected that the thief was Tom and we would like you to teach him a lesson again!” The CIB officer said to be. “Ok, I would solve the case as soon as possible” I replied. I placed the phone back to where it should be.

  Hmm, why does Tom want to steal jewelries again if he didn’t want to be suspected of stealing, he would just steal money instead? I thought to myself. The next day, I went to the nearby town which was called Berry Town as it grows a lot of berries there. I started investigation at ‘The New Jewel’. Went I went in, everything was in a mess! The windows shattered, the door snapped into half. The robbery was probably conducted at night because to made such mess you would need to create a lot of noise and to avoid being seen by the workers and customers and it must also be in a quite a remote place. And it happens to be in a coincidence that both the shop was one located at the northern part of the town and the southern part of the town. Both northern and southern was flooded with people in the day while so quiet in the night!

  If my hypothesis was correct, the next jewelry shop that will be robbed will be at the north east side of town which is also flooded with people while so quiet in the night!

  I called the CIB in Berry Town in charge of the northern east side of town. We station ourselves in a place where it is the most unseen place. We waited for 2 days and 1 night till the thief finally appeared. And true enough the thief snapped the door into half. The technology is so not modern in Berry Town than Thief Town! Doors as made of wood, no alarm and no CCTV camera! What an outdated town it is. I snapped out of my though as the thief smash the display glasses and keep on taking the jewelry from the display set. I gave the signal for the police to surround them. And then we all charged in and surrounded the thief. The thief had not noticed us as I pulled away his mask and it was indeed Tom who was the culprit! “When do you steal jewelry from these 3 shops?” I asked Tom. “I was working for the triads bosses to steal jewelries for them….I own them money….”Tom said as he settled down. And I told the officer to bring him in prison.

  I have yet solve another robbery case and this time I think it hadn’t wasted my time for this case. In the end, I was introduced a store for me to buy to set up a detective office in Berry Town to ensure peace! And I agreed. In three months time, I will have another office on Berry Town!
