Poem Of The Day and Quote Of The Day

31 01 2011

Hi guys!

Okay, I am going to introduce a new segment which I like to call Poem Of  The Day and Quote Of  The Day.What this means is that every Monday, I will post a new poem written by me and a poem that has been written by another person. For the Quote Of The Day, I will post a new quote written by me every Sunday while I will also post a quote written by someone else.

So for today, this is the new poem and the poem that I am recommending to you:

Dripping Sadness

The rain drips from the clouds.

My tears drips from my eyes.

The sorrow drips from my heart.

Blood is thicker that water

As time has passed and futures pondered,
I’ve often sat and silently wondered;
To hell and back we both have been,
If you werent here, would I have been seen?

You hold my hand through thick and thin,
I thank the lord that you’re my kin;
No matter the cost your there for me,
You make me smile and fill me with glee.

Like a rock of ages do you stand firm,
You give me safety, somewhere to turn;
Your words can invert any a frown,
You lift up my spirits whenever their down

There arent the words for what I must say,
I just hope you know for ever in a day;
You are my sister and I am your brother,
But I will always love you as you were my mother!

These poems will also be available at my Poems and Quotes Page. So remember to stop by to view them!

Yours Truly,

Alfwintan
